I've been to the Little Britain tour in Hammersmith and indeed, there are a LOT of reference to his sexuality - Mat indicating he "pretends to be straight but secretly wanting to be gay"
I do personaly believe he is NOT as I've read that he has a girlfriend - quick search on net says:
in an interview with Queerday,[2], Walliams stated that life would be easier if he were attracted to men - implying that he is not. The newspapers portray him as being very camp and that some women mistake him for being gay. It has been confirmed by the Daily Mail on 25th October 2006 that David's girlfriend is Australian model Emily Scott.
Other rumours say that Walliams and Lucas are a couple, although they have always denied this and Lucas is due to enter into a civil partnership with his life partner.

I respect him for doing the swim across the channel - that wont change in my view regardless of his sexuality.

I know what you mean! I think though that it's irelevant. But If I was forced into offering an opinion, I'd say straight and that the whole gay/bi personality thing is just David courting the publics' frustrated curiosity. He's just being "So David Walliams" for us lot in public land cause it keeps us asking, guessing, wondering...... E's luvin it that we just can't figure it out!! lol
