at times he's ok. i hate his 'love smart' crap because it's not dealing too much with issues. all he does in those episodes is basically tell women to change themselves so that men will like them.
a lot of the time he's very blacka dn white and that isn't how life is. sure sometimes it is, like that jackarse wife-beating husband, but yeah... he doesn't seem to get why people do what they do-their reasons behind it.
also, he doesn't deal with the issues behind things. like people who cut/shoplift/gamble etc. he just tells them to stop... as if it's that easy, but doesn't figure out WHY they cut/shoplift/gamble etc.
also, some of his 'psychology' is SOOO basic that only an ignoramus doesn't know it.
he also has contradicting and just plain WRONG philosphies. he's all "you're a MOTHER first, and THEN a wife", but he doesn't seem to realise that if you act like a mother more than a wife, you may lose touch with or respect/love etc for your spouse, causing conflict in the house, resulting in the kids being worse off anyway.

when he was first on television i really liked his show. But this season I cant hardly stand to watch it. I think his producers are making the show like Montel or Maury and not really serious like it was to begin with. Also I hate how he acts like his life is soooo perfect which is bull. And I think he needs to keep Robin off stage, first off all I cant stand to look at her because its soo noticeable that she has had her lips done and it looks really bad, 2nd she is terrible at reading the prompter, and 3rd shes not a psychiatrist so I dont think she has the qualifications to be giving people advice. And is it just me or does it seem like they show more commercials than his show, and it seems like he hardly talks to the people to help them, most of the show is just a video.

I think that he tries to be helpful and he truly believes what he stands for, however, he is a pompas *** who has no real idea of what people other than people like himself have to go through. I guess you could say I have a like/not so much ideology toward him.

Sometimes I feel like he is a hypocrite. He writes a book on dieting and tells people how to lose weight-and, yet, here he is, gaining. What? Are you kidding me?

At first I thought he was an asshat sucking at the teat of Oprah. However, after seeing his interviews on Letterman, he's a funny, likeable guy.
