Is there any difference in the material tested for these 4 tests?

There are significant differences. I'm not too familiar with the PCAT, but the DAT has a visual perception section that has no equivalent on the MCAT, the OAT physics focuses very heavily on optics. The sciences on the OAT and DAT are tested in a much more straight-forward manner than on the MCAT, where most questions center on critical reading and reasoning.

Check out sample tests offered monthly at your local Kaplan center, or at most big universities in February.

good luck!

Lol, the MCAT is not an 8 hour exam. It is broken down into two 70 minute and two 60 minute sections, plus 30 minutes of breaks throughout. The major difference between the PCAT and the MCAT is the focus. The PCAT focuses more heavily on content. You simply need to KNOW the things that are being asked. However, it also covers more biology, such as the different phylums and such. Most bio on the MCAT is human or bacteria related. The MCAT is also much less focused on content. It primarily tests critical thinking by giving you passages to read and then questioning you on them. The answers are rarely in the passage itself, but require you to apply what you read to solve the question. Because of this, you can not memorize everything that will be on the MCAT, because it is not focused on that (though there are a lot of things you need to know to do well). In theory, you could memorize everything necessary for the PCAT. Because most people think that critical thinking is harder than memorization, most people would say that the MCAT is harder. The difference between pharmacy school and medical school is one trains pharmacists and the other trains medical doctors. You need two semesters of algebra based physics for the MCAT.

The PCAT is the Pharmacy College Admissions Test.
The MCAT is the Medical College Admissions Test. These two tests are a requirement for students applying into med school or pharmacy school.
I am not too sure about the others.

They are all differnt professional college admission exams. MCAT is for med school, PCAT is for pharmacy school, OAT is for optometry, and DAT is for dental. They are similiar in some areas, but they all center around subject pertinent to your field of study. Speaking from experience...the MCAT is really really hard! Good lluck if you want to pursue a career in the health field!
