We don't live just so we can die. If that was the only point in life, then we wouldn't have lifespans on the average of 60-80. Humans live for each other. Actually, I learned that If you get isolated without human contact for too long, no matter what, you'll die. We live our lives, learn stuff, make stuff, etc. -Then- we die, and those who follow us learn from us and learn new stuff and make better stuff and society grows!
Whats the point of this cycle? . . . *shrugs*
I'm not God. Couldn't tell you what the meaning of life is. But I do know society is building up to something. Possibly. . . our own demise?

The point of life might not be to die. I don't know what the point is but I don't believe that it is to die.
If it was though, and the point was to die, then we would have to have lived in the first place, you have to exist before you can die.

There's a difference between knowing a path and walking a path. It's like : being rich and being poor, being ugly and being pretty, etc....
You cannot say that you are "tall" without the presence of those who are "short".
You cannot feel "happiness" without knowing the true meaning of "suffering".
You cannot understand the meaning of "death" without "living".
You cannot know the taste of the food without tasting it.
You cannot know the story of a fairytale without reading it.
You cannot understand the meaning of life without living it.
The Sun knows that it will soon set at the end of the day, yet it still shines brightly to comfort all living beings around it....
The birds knows that they are not immortal, but they still fly high to the open arms of the sky....
We know that we all are going to die sometimes... yet mothers and fathers still work hard everyday to support the family.
Why? Why be so strong? Why be so pretty? Why be so rich?
Those are all powers, ...the true meaning of a power is when you use it for the benefit of all. Share your power like the sun, birds, mothers and fathers around you. There you begin to see the world as they do. And hopefully you will be happy.
Try to find the true meaning of life....And have no regrets in dying later.
How to find it is up to you....
I'll give you a hint,...."Be happy!"

We did not have to live in the first place... Life is part of Evolution
of the Universe. It is an accident. there is no reason for it.
But that is the Objective view. So what do we do. We
find our own meaning in each of our lives. That is the Subjective
view.

A plant lives an dies in a single season, but in that short life produces a hundred, a thousand or millions of seeds to bring forth new life in the next season.
Similarly, our short and somewhat sad existance here in this life will plant the seed that in the next season of life can/will bring forth a new being that will live on eternally.

The point of life from the natural view is to reproduce and once your genes have been passed on your function is ended and it's bye bye to you.
Facing the fact that you will die is important, because what you expect at or after death will influence how you will lead your life.
The Christian Gospel lays a path from death to life. Certainly worth investigating.

We live to make god happy. We are his creation and life is a gift. So many people never have made it this far, and each day that you wake you are being blessed by the almighty. however times may get tough, but when you belive in God he will make you tougher. Life is beautiful and so are you. Once you begin to make your own family, maybe then you will see the real beauty of it all.

We have to see that to die is just incidentally the endpoint of living but not the mean goal of the living itself.
You have to live because the living was given to you without care of the ultimate fate you will face.
Good luck!

Exactly... therefore the point to life cannot be death or life is pointless. Simplify things, what else in life is pointless? Nothing is pointless, everything has some meaning some reason. Perhaps it is not the destination but the journey that holds meaning.

our point in life is not to die its to learn so that in the next life those battles we face within the first life will be meaningless...you have to experience things in order to understand them so in each of the stages of life we learn a new lesson and overcome certain challenges so in the end we will be in ttal peace and will see the whole picture, the problem is in this stage people are trying to find the whole picture which is impossible until you complete each stage!
