The question is, why are you buying the camera. Sure, it's small and slim but are you looking at its features (or lack thereof) as well. The first thing is, it's a cheap camera, at $50. The second thing is, it doesn't bring any kind of quality to the party, 3MP coupled to what is probably a plastic lens does not equal good quality. That being said... it's like buying a camera you would find in a cell phone (okay, maybe a little better but not much).

If $50 is your budget then well, it's about as good as you are going to do. It lacks optical zoom and probably doesn't capture movies. The ONLY thing it has going for it is the $50 price tag. But, if this is a camera you're going to carry in your pocket or keep it on you for that quick snapshot then it should fit the bill (but so does every cell phone camera).

It's not a camera I would use to capture family keepsakes or special events. Or even for armature photography... and that's what I do mostly so if you want to know whether I would buy it or not... I would not. There are low cost options out there, if you want a recommendation, check out the Nikon Coolpix L3, but it costs about $120 online. And that's the least amount I would spend on a digital camera.
