Shouldn't we be required to say our feelings verses name calling and threatenning remarks?

That is tricky. What kind of history do you have with the person? Is the person known to be violent? What is the context? Sometimes you should ignore it and go on. Sometimes you should take it very seriously and seek legal help. If you genuinely fear for your safety, have a restraining order filed against the individual. If the person has attempted to harm you, file charges with the police. It helps if there are witnesses. If you are at work, let your employer/supervisor know immediately. If you are not provided a safe work environment, you can file a sexual harassment complaint. I know, it's not sexual; but it falls under sexual harassment anyway.
