£30 is alot for a ex considering she only spent about £5 on you. this is going to be from your daughter, so take her with you and let her pick something out, like you said you hardly speak and her hubby will be the one splashing the cash on her (well...let him pay) stick to about the same as she will spend on you, if your daughter picks a picture frame or something, just put a nice photo of your daughter in it to make it more personal. its the thought that counts, not the cost

Try setting a limit for you both. You can take your daughter out and have her pick something forget the perfume. your ex wife will kknow thats not the little one picking it out. Really have your daughter look at things if she's very small help her decide. point her in the direction of things to look at scarf hat gloves something small however and sdomething your daughter feels like she' participating in. and YES don't spend too much on the ex thats why I suggest a limit for both sides. and you can stalk up on ties till the cows come home lool.

Robert M had a great idea take your daughter to a craft store and have her make something for Mommy Dearest. Look at the books they have there for making crafts and have your daughter pick one out. Am sure her mother would not complain about that, and just think on how many pounds you will be saving over the years!

Take your daughter into Boots or Superdrug and get her to pick a 'gift set', something for the bath. No-one could call that a posh or thoughtful present, but your daughter can tell her Mum that she chose it herself. A tenner should be plenty.

My hubby bought his ex wife a bottle of posion by christan dior sooo funny personally i dont think you should go for that option i would take your girl out shopping and look for things like bubble bath, chocolates or gloves and let your little girl wrap it up she would enjoy doing that and i think you are setting a good example to her by showing that there are no bad feelings give urself a pat on the back

infant? My son is 13, he's getting 0.5 an iPod for Christmas and paying something himself. i will in all probability additionally purchase him some new shoes (Adidas) and an iTunes card, additionally a stocking crammed with candy and stupid humorous tale grants. once you're procuring for a girl, she would be in a position to in all probability like outfits. try giftcards for Hollister or Abercrombie. If the 13yo would not have an iPod, discover out what music he/she likes and purchase CD's.

Don't spend too much money this time but also don't buy her such personal gift as perfume. I don't know a scarf, pashmina, gloves.....try to make it nice as it is from your daughter. Don't think about last year because that was last year leave it there. Bless you.xxx

This is sick. You are still keeping up with this charede? Enough already! Give yoru daughter 15 pounds and tell her that she can buy mommy something.
That way youput an end to this, no more expenses and socks and hipocresy... this has gone too far.
Good luck

try 20 quid this year, so your still in the same approx. price tag, but gently lower it each year by a fiver from there on.... until your at the tenner rate and by then you can give your daughter her own money and she can by what she likes for her mum, possibly increasing again if she saves.
