Its 3 am here and i am on Y!A answering questions and suddenly i here this noise. It made me jump out of my skin!I look around and think maybe its my mom or dad waking up in the middle of the night....i see no one and i go and "investigate" .
Then i realize its a CAT thats got in through an open window!!Wow..... that was a sigh of relief!!
Hehehe......Silly,huh?

Rori...if you didn't go and see what made that noise, wouldn't the suspense kill you?
Not knowing what made that noise is a lot more scary than confronting it.

Yep, I once left my room armed with a can of deodrant (can spray in eyes hit on the head) and some tweasers (dig out eyes) went downstairs switched all the lights on and found my cat sitting at his food bowl eating away like he didnt jus scare the crap outa me!!

A little silly but funny too. If I heard a noise a 3 in the morning I would not go investigate. That always happens in scary movies. Sorry I hope I'm not scaring you.

I had that happen but in the bathroom above me in the ceiling I
kept hearing this scratching noise but later it turned out to be a huge rat. I only saw it once when I was sitting on the toilet and it
ran accross my feet and just disappeared in a small crack in the wall. I felt it on me sleeping a few times and my neighbor said I
was nuts that it was just muscle spasms but it was real and one
night it was nibbling at the bottom of my undershorts and when I
jumped up it nipped me on the thigh. It hurt for about 10-15 minutes. Now it is gone, thank God.

That's not silly, it's just funny. If I heard a noise at 3 in the morning, I'd get up to investigate too. If it hadn't scared you then you should be worried about having absolutely zero survival instincts. âº

Never happened to me. I live on the tenth floor though, so I would be more scared than relieved if a cat actually jumped through the window.

That reminded me of a story my friend told me. Her mom was pregnant with her little sister, and these punks shone a lazer light through the window, and my friend freaked out and told her mom. Her mom took a baseball bat while shouting "COME HERE, I'M GONNA GET YOU!" and chased the brats away. LOL!
