glycerin is available @ pharmacy drug stores. In most other stores like WM, it's on the aisle with the witch hazel, peroxide, alcohol. to make the soap, I don't know. I use it in my tub water and take a bath in it, mindful of the slipperness of it.

i'm not exactly sure of the process, but just watch the scene in fight club where brad pitt makes soap. that's the only place i have that info from anyway, and i can't remember it right now.
