I do hate it but can understand in some circumstances. I'm very bad at calling people back when I am depressed, and it usually takes about 10 phone calls till I answer :)
If its something similar, I can forgive, but if they just lie and had no intention of calling you back, that isn't nice at all.

First of all if he got you into the sac on the first date or even the second for some men they only want the booty call then they leave you have been just been played. Some men are just players and pigs so maybe next time make sure you don't give in so easy a guy needs to work to get into a ladies pants if he has no
problem then you are just to easy and they wonder how many other guys you have been with it genarally scares most men if the lady there seeing jumps into the sac right away either it shows you are desperate for a guys attention or that you sleep around either one is a run away sign.

Many guys often inconsiderately tell a woman "I'll call you" just so she will hear what she wants to hear, with no regard for her feelings. I know all too well because I've been on the receiving end of this tons of times. It's rude- and here's why. It leaves the woman in a position of waiting for the call when she could be doing something better with the time. After all, what woman wouldn't rather be hanging out with her girlfriends than waiting for a call that almost never comes? At least if he tells her off the bat that he's not interested, she won't wait around for him.

Guys tend to be very practical and direct. Usually they will call when they have something to tell you or something to ask, i.e. they need to have a reason for calling. The idea of communication as an activity or goal in its own right is largely foreign to them.

Yes, I'm married now, but I use to hate that when I was single. I could usually tell when things didn't go well but not always. I would just rather have a "thank you and goodnight".

Almost everybody (male or female) who says they're going to call me back doesn't. So I've just come to expect it. You should try not expecting it too, then if they do it's a pleasant surprise.

Some guys just tend to forget, or they have no interest. Some guys are still pretty immature, too. Yes, and I hate that.

I totally hate that.

If a guy is into you...he'll call. If he's not...he won't. So when they say they will call and didn't ....that their chicken s.h.i.t. way of blowing us off.

But to be fair....how many times do we give the wrong phone number....hmmm for me...too many to count. (my bad).

Girls say that too. Sometimes people say it and never mean to do so...sometimes they feel like they probably will, but then decide they just aren't interested enough to do it.

Either way, it's an unkewl way to treat someone and amounts to a 'brush off'...people who interact should be mature enough to let someone know lack of interest or end of interest...otherwise, they shouldn't interact until they know how to treat people as they'd like to be treated.

The brush off is the cowards way of getting out of putting themselves in the uncomfortable situation of telling you "thanks, but no thanks".

I think that some guys just dont wont to hurt your feelings and tell you that he dont wont to talk to you. And then some are just rude and mean.
