I have reservations while we will be in town for a wedding and was looking for something special but casual and relaxing while on our last evening in Savannah. Other suggestions?

I have lived here all my life and have never heard of it. My suggestion, if your not from around the ocean, go to The Crab Shack on Tybee Island. Great seafood.

I've eat then there and think it's alright for the price. Nothing to make a special trip for but if your downtown and want a moderately priced meal, it fills the bill.

My favorite Downtown place is Casbah Moroccan Restaurant. Other’s I’ve been with have not thought it anything special but if you like ethic food, especially Middle Eastern, it’s a good bet. Best Lamb I’ve had in Savannah. More traditional places that I like are Tony Roma’s and Churchill’s Pub, both on Bay Street. Tony Roma’s is a normal American style place serving hamburgers, chicken, and the usually stuff to make everybody happy. Churchill’s Pub has some British things but there’s enough variety to please everybody. Farther south, Sweet Leaf Smokery & Eatery has the best Barbecue in town but there’s not a lot to choice from there if you’ve got a picky eater. If you end up on the Southside for anything, the best place in Savannah is Rancho Alegre Cuban Restaurant. It’s not much to look at but is hands down the best food you can get in to town since Taste of India caught on fire.

Enjoy Savannah
