If "two times" is the important stress in the sentence. Thats ok.
i.e. He went to the bathroom two times in the last five minutes.

I think that it just personal preference.

But you do say "times" when referring to math, and not "twice."
Example 2 times 6

nope, not really. Because it doesn't really matter if u say "two times" or "twice". They basically mean the same thing. only the different way.

yes it is incorrect people may not think that but the in some cases it is correct ex every two times you say that i wil.... you cannot say every twice times...... but in most cases it is its just the rare occasion that it isnt

no. they both mean the same thing and its how you want to use it. remember if you're in the US no one uses grammer correctly so it dosn't matter.
