To clear an area. Not sure what context you're talking about, but in action movies or video games, "clean house" pretty much means "beat up all the baddies in the area."

It can also mean "to win big," like in gambling.

mass employee fire and rehire at a company
eliminate the snitches in a gang
rob a bank
win big at gambling
scrub and sweep
