Jim Jones, eh? There was a rumor, when I was a cop in El Campo, that Betty Turner was involved with that bunch of nutcases. And, judging by her behaviour, I didn't doubt it. She was nuttier than a Corsicana fruitcake.

Its called brainwashing getting people at the lowest point in their lives and promising eternal etc...It is happening all over the world people are so lonely and desperate they believe anything ......He has no Power but the power of bullshit.....and many people are good at this .......kara

Um...i would say that no sane person could do that, i would think you would have to have some deep psychological disorder like extreme manic. well i guess a sane person could do that if they were extremely evil

I think he was on his own power trip. Many dictators in society have done this same thing.....they declare themselves the best, and decide who dies....based on their whim. No one is allowed to criticize them, or rebel....or it's off with their heads, or shoot em down...or something like that.
GOD help us all...if they control nuclear devices.
