This question is best answered by an old story in which humans had control over all animals in the beginning; then, for whatever reason, they lost this ability and a division was created between the humans and the animals...a call to the animals to join the humans on the other side rang out and the dog looked at all of the other animals and then ran and jumped across the chasm and stood by the side of the humans whilst all the rest of the animals were forever to be wild.

I have 3 cats and 3 dogs. I love them all. Depending on the mood of the cats or dogs at any given time, depends on which one I like the most!

For me the answer is a cat. Mine is very demanding and very sociable. I have never seen a cat chase a car,
run after a neighbor and bite them, meow at any one who happens to pass by the apt. or house.I've never seen a cat have a meowing fit at something as simple as a leaf blowing past, I have never had a male cat get down and dirty with humping someones leg! I've never had a cat drool all over me.Cat's don't wake a person up at 3:00AM to go outside to go to the bathroom.I could go on and on but I won't I think I made my point!

This depends on you. If your gone a lot and are a quite person, then I'd say a cat. If you have a lot of time and are more active, I'd say a dog. Also depends on the breed. Personally I love both. : )

It depends on what kind of person you are. If you want something that totaly dotes on you and depends on you for its happiness then you want a dog. If you want a pet that does its own thing, has its own life and only comes to you when it wants you, then you want a cat! Both are good, just depends on what you are looking for in a pet.

cats r for if you just want something that can move & you can waste money on feeding. While dogs can:
answer to their name
listen to your commands
will play with u
if u train it will potty outside
wont bite & scratch u(unless u dont train them)
Dogs r far superior than cats, in all ways.

Well, I don't think one is better than the other. It's mainly difference of opinon! I tend to like dogs better. But, it's really depends on who you're asking.

:) Cats are easier to care for. Many people like dogs, as they are more social.
I for one, have a very social(and vocal) cat, who works just fine.

I have both dogs and cats, each is lovable in its own ways they all have different personalites and are unique is one way or they other. So I would say I like them both......

this is gonna be biased. they both have their advantages and disadvantages, but dogs are better companions, more freindly and playful. cats are more idependent, more of a cuddle buddy for sleep. what are you looking for? i personally prefer dogs.
