I think it would really depend on the man and his feelings and his upbringing. His nurturing would play a big part because the way he was brought up and his attitudes towards women plays a big part in what he would look for in a woman. Not every man will want the same things. One man may want a wife who can cook and clean whereas another man may want a wife who cant but loves him and cares for him. Your question is very general and I think you should maybe consider re asking the question to the next man you date, What are you(the man) looking for in order to make me your wife? Every man has their own views of what they want in a wife. An example was here I saw in one of the answers a guy told you, he said loyalty, a smiling face and an encouraging and a loving heart. You see every man has his own perspective of what they want in a wife. Be yourself and dont try to be someone your not that is very important because this will identify who you are in the relationship. Your identity is what makes you the type of wife you want to be.

A man wants a woman first and foremost. A man wants to be listened to just as a woman does, and a man wants to be able to trust his woman meaning she will not tell her friends every single thing about him especially the embarrassing things. A man wants a woman that will not let herself go. A man wants a women that loves him for him and will not compare him to others. A man wants a woman that is patient. A man wants alot of things and most importantly a man wants a woman which he can please not a woman who when given a gift says something about someone with something better, because its about he woman as well. Also something very important is sex whether one will admit it or not sex is very important and so is experimentation in sexual acts.

I assume you mean men that aren't parasites.
Assuming that, I would say they want a woman who makes them feel good about themselves, who is healthy, seems like she would be a good mother (assuming they want or expect to have kids).
Some need the good cook or housekeeper, some don't. ALL need to feel good about themselves. You make them feel this way by being loving, caring, nurturing, communicative. Treat him as least as well as you want to be treated and you will have a head start on the others who like him.

I hate the word wife. In some cultures it's a trap. But to answer your question, good men are looking for attraction, someone they see as future good mothers, understanding, intelligent, and has a good attitude about life.

Why are you trying to find out? Most of the guys I know pretty much look for a women who doesn't try to be who she isn't. My cousin married someone who was false about who she really was and now they are fighting to keep their marriage alive. You need to be yourself because there are a lot of men who will love you as you are.

A woman that can caregive like raise kids.cook/clean ,honest.decent looks and really good personality the most important.I have noticed u dont have to be really good looking if you have all the other stuff down pat.Compare it to looking for a mate in the caveman days!

My personal opinion is that most men are simple and just want someone that listens and tries to understand them. Also it takes time for most men to consider if they are marrying the right person.

I'll make it plain and simple. just 2 things.
1. Best sex ever or make them feel that way
2. Trustworthy knowing you'll be there for him
The rest of the stuff like cooking, cleaning, making money, etc. are icing on the cake.

1. full of love n is great at sex
2. commitment/faith/trust
3. one who will love his family/friends/dog etc.. tooo
4. one who is doing a respectable job/is educated etc
5. who cooks great!!
these aren't mandatory qualities but preferable by all men!!!
I dont think having great looks is imp. when it comes to marrying a woman.. all these qualities take priority
