Could be clutter - At the top of internet explorer, click on tools - choose 'Internet options' In this page click on 'Delete files' put a tick in the box marked 'delete off-line content' and hit o.k. When the hourglass dissapears, do the same on 'Delete cookies' and 'Clear History'

This will clear all the clutter that bungs up your temp files and you will not delete anything you need or anything irreplacable.

Also, run an anti-virus scan, spyware scan and check your firewall is up to date. If you don't have these go to the Computer Active web site and go to the download section.

For anti-virus download AVG antivirus 7.5
For spyware try Spybot search and destroy
If you don't have a firewall try Zone alarm.

All programs are free and very effective. To find them just type the names in the earch box, look through the results for the download page and follow the instructions.

Good luck.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

Run some bandwith tests at several different times a day. If it is not the speed you're should be running at. Go NUTS !.
Maybe if thats not it try deleting your internet files and cookies. This tends to slow down a broadband connection

that is the hot replace that is reason behind issues. attempt firefox and use "upload ons" for pages that still choose IE. you are able to set particular pages/information superhighway sites to nonetheless use IE yet will open in firefox, that way a minimum of each and every of the otherers will be speedier
