my landlord is a hippie

maybe one of the last ones

he lived on like $1000 one year in the 1970s

he owned the building so had free rent but still

for an educated person to do something like that by choice makes a statement I think

He is rich now and still lives a hippie lifestyle mostly, has a bike pump for his car tires, etc, a basement full of trash too

I live in a small city in Northern California, and there is an entire subculture of hippies all over. Some truly attempt to live true to the "hippie message", one love, unity, community, all of that, and some I call "hippiecrites", it is more of a fashion statement, and an excuse to use drugs, and bum off of other people.

all the time where i grew up its a little hick town in northern California there all over the place there.
my hole family went swimming one year at a place where we always go, an there they where with nothing on at all walking and smoking an doing what they do just have ing a grate time an it was kind of out of the woodwork for me but i wish never to see a 55 year old guys an weman with nothing on ever again hahaha

of course,i am one and so is my brother and sister and friends hippie is a state of being and mindset not long hair althought many have long hair it is not required

yeah most colleges have their cliques of neo hippies. I have no problem with their beliefs, but jam bands and their aesthetics make me sick.
