ok, we've been togather for 2yrs decmeber and we have a 5month baby girl. Were engaged but he doesn't want to set a date to get married he's afraid of commentment and we've been threw so much in the last 2 yrs . i don't understand were both faithful and we respect nither of us is abusive its not perfect but no relastionship is he's afriad that his past is going to catch up to him or he's going to be like his dad been marred a few times and never faithful. but i said to him if he loves me and he wants this to work if he wants to grow old with me and be togather that way then he won't let nothing bad happen. I don't know what to do cause it feels like im not good enough to get married to.

The sad truth is the odds are against you having any long term happy relationship let alone marraige.You said "he's afraid of commitment" that says it all! And you being good enough to marry has nothing to do with it. please donot gage your self worth on this man or any person ever! I'm sure he is probably a nice person, but red flags are all over the place! Look around you. love and protect your child be good to yourself!

Try pointing out to him that you two already are commited to each other. You have a child together, you're going to be in each others lives for the rest of your lives no matter what. Counsoling also wouldn't be a bad idea.

marriage is a big committment, but so is having a child. He needs to take that big step for his child's sake, however maybe he still likes to play and pretend, so in reality you must make the choice for him.
