Entertainment, a temporary distraction from work, a chance to share my viewpoints on various subjects...sometimes I have a strong opinion on the subject & feel a need to answer, other times it's just for fun (or maybe a little vanity, there's a certain satisfaction to having my thoughts read/seen by strangers & it's especially rewarding to be chosen as best answer, to feel validated and understood...)

Hmmm my motivation is being able to see the curiousity of how people think. Not counting I love reading some of the responses. Some of the questions, and responses are actaully educating... guess I can be a nerd sometimes. lol

Sometimes I feel that I'm helping people.

I like stretching my brain with some questions that do not have immediate and obvious answers. So I spend a lot of time in Philosophy.

Been asking myself that same question.
Got started by asking a few questions.
Appreciated the answers.
Figured it could help out someone else if I knew for sure the answer they needed.
