Well, I think most people are willing to admit that it's a natural part to growing up. Your dad may just not be too good at expressing his thoughts and just blurted something out.
It's probable that he really doesn't care and will just shrug it off. There are a couple things you can do.
1- Don't worry about it. Everyone does it. There's no reason to make a big deal about it.
2- Talk to him. Say that you feel embarassed that he walked in and weren't expecting his reaction.
Chill out. Parents are willing to talk about more than we give them credit for. Good luck.

Do remember to locked the door next times.Or do it while U taking the shower.Nothing U can do now.Just pretend nothing was happen.By the way,masturbate is a very natural matter to be do by a a adult.I'm think your dad might understanding U.Just don't worry,try start talking with your dad.I'm been caught by my mom while I'm masturbate in my bedroom too.Do believe your dad will soon to have a talk with U about this.

It is not a big deal. All men and boys masturbate. I am as old as Autumn leaves. When I was a boy I was using a vacuum cleaner on my self and my mother came in and caught me. She just smiled and walked a way. Don't worry about it. It is natural and there is nothing wrong with it. I wish some one would have told me that when I was a boy.

don't stress on it. ask him if anybody ever caught him. it might be a good way to start a dialog about sex and get some frank answers to some things you've been wondering about.
consider yourself lucky. I've known guys whose parents freaked out and took the bedroom door off or wouldn't let them close the bathroom door all the way. stuff like that.

I don't think you should do anything. If your dad wants to talk to you about it let him come to you. I think your dad knows that it's normal for men to masturbate at some point and age in their lives. He's even done it I'm sure.

You should do nothing. Masturbating is a natural thing and he should know that he went through that stage himself. Nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed of. This is nature and nature is beautiful.
