Does my mother-in-law count?

Yes... from an ex-boyfriend. He wanted to stay friends & I wanted nothing to do with him. When I saw the card in the mail, I ripped the card in half before I even opened it. That's when I realized that he put money in it. He owed me money years back but I thought of it as a lesson learned and never expected a cent from him. I took the money out and taped the bills together. He had a mutual friend ask me a few weeks later if I got the card. My ex was probably expecting a card or phone call in return. I told the friend that I ripped it up and threw it away without opening it. The friend asked about the money and I said, "What money?" I knew my ex would be so pissed! Ha!

Yes I have and I was surprised but, with the spirit of Christmas in my mind, I asked myself why I really don't like this person. I've done some re-evaluating and I think if she was able to 'rise above' our disagreements, perhaps I should too. I thought it was big of her to take this first step.

Yes. And if part II is "did I send one back" the answer is "yes." I hope there's no part III to ask why because I'm not sure. Just protocol, I guess.

NO... I pretty much let those I don't like KNOW that I don't like them so they don't bother wasting money on a card or a stamp.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh life when you practice honesty !!
