Tokyo is not just the capitol of Japan, it is also one of the biggest cities. There are about 12 million people who live and also has jobs in Tokyo. Government, banking, and international trade all take place in the center of Tokyo. In the center of Tokyo is where the Imperial Palace is. The Emperor and its family live there.
