I see so many stupid people in chat rooms, on message boards, etc talking about how much they hate Americans. Most of us oppose this war in Iraq, so why hate all of us for it?

Most countries have restrictions on what U.S. information can be introduced on their citizens, therefore they do not get all of the information. The leaders of these countries also make their news stations and newspapers reflect the U.S. in a negative way especially if they are opponents of our policies.

It is the innocent that always suffer in countries that are at war with eachother. People should realize that and no matter what country that is it is always true. In the United States, we suffer not from poverty, but from the choices our country makes just like every other country in this world. What the hell! Our country is not like perfect! The citizens are not able to control the government and just because we have a better economy here and there is a stereotype of our country that citizens are totally free, it is not true. Not all of us in this country are presidents! We do not make the decisions! Believe me. I don't like that either about many foreigners hating us. There is no reason to hate the innocent people. It is the government you should hate, because ALL governments are corrupt in this world not the individuals that reside in them. Most foreigners should understand that, because many also have corrupt governments and you should ask them if that is true. They should agree with you and if they don't they are very ignorant about what's going on in the world and need to step away from ethnocentrism for a little while.

I think those who are intelligent do realize this, however, like some of us here who are not equiped with the same level of intelligence, we too associate such prejudice with those whom we criticize on the same basis.
