No. But during the pelvic exam your practitioner may note discharge and cervical redness and test you then. But it would be a swab and not the same test as the pap smear.

A Pap will indicate abnormality but isn't a specific test. It is a screening tool for cervical cancer. If you feel you may have been exposed and wish to be screened for chlamydia then you must request it

They have to run a specific test for it, a routine pap will not tell you if you have it or not. You usually have to ask the doctor to test you for it.

You will be tested automatically. All women, when getting thier pap are. You don't even have to ask for it.

my doctors always takes a culture for dieseses like that but i would ask just to be sure if your worrird you may have it go anyway the long term effects of leaving it untreated are horrible

Yes, an exam by your GYN should be able to tell you if you have chlamydia. You should ask for it to be tested specifically.
