Well, I think it should have a larger role than it does now. I'm not sure about relying on it as a primary source. We currently get 15% of our energy from nuclear plants. McCain wants to double that number or more. Of course, he doesn't talk about the difficult regulatory process and the expense of building those plants, does he? Democrats 2008

Actually, the exact phrase is "the consent of the people," indicating a more passive agreement from the voters, however, per Jefferson, Machiavelli and nearly anyone willing to learn from observation, yup, it's the people.
