The U.S. Supreme Court ruled (Ambach v. Norwick, 1979) that states may require citizenship as a condition of teaching, and all states do.

It's the Supreme Court's job to interpret the US Constitution. The supposedly Pro-life Republicans (a Republican is Chief Justice) could have accepted an abortion case and overturned their Roe vs Wade decision. But they haven't done that. The reason for this is because they want to keep abortion a nationwide issue. If you sit back and take a look, you'll see that Republicans are hypocrites. Why can't you see that? If the Republicans were sincere about wanting to ban abortions, the Republican controlled Supreme Court would have overturned the Roe vs Wade decision years ago.
