The asst. manager at my job has made comments regarding how large my breasts are,and that he loooves them. He asked if I were a 3-way girl. Not knowing what that meant, I walked into an answer I was not expecting. He also told me I had a fat a%$ and and that he would *&#@ the &*%$ out of me as he demonstrated with body movement and facial expressions. I am an African American woman and he is biracial, Caucasion and African American but only embraces his caucasion side. One day the manager wanted to ask me a question and asked the asst. manager if I would know the answer, The asst. manager made the comment, using what I can only discribe as a " slave like" way of saying," watch she going to say I dont know I just come to work for a check, cause thats what we do". These are just a few of the usual comments I hear. There have been no witnesses and its my word against his. It has since stopped and now that I mentioned it to one of our bosses he has turned to picking at my performance.

Hello:

You may have a hostile work environment claim.
To prevail, you must show:

That the assistant manager engaged in unwelcome behavior that is: offensive to the reasonable person, severe or pervasive, and alters working conditions to create an abusive working environment.

You may also have a retaliation claim if you can show:
That your employer took adverse employment action against you ("picking at your performance"), and that a causal relationship exists between the "picking", and your mentioning the offensive behavior to your boss.

Because the assistant manager is a "supervisor", you may be able to hold your employer (the company) strictly liable for his actions.

I'm not an attorney, and this is not legal advice, but I think you should speak with an employment law attorney. Good luck!

This guy is a total ******. He was out of line to be commenting on your body parts, as well as the other things he said. I would look for a new job pronto, and when I quit, I would make it quite clear to his boss that this fool was the reason you were leaving. It looks like this is a poorly run company if you've told the boss and it got right back to this guy so he can now pick on your performance. Get out of there.

Hey sorry you are having a hard time sis. What I would do is start a dairy of every thing that is going on and keep up with every conversation with date and time. If one day things get crazy you can bring it up. Speak up on any sexual things you dont want to be said to you but the race comments are real gray

This definitely sounds like harassment and you should turn him in,whether he has stopped or not. You do not and should not have to put up with that kind of behavior especially at work. You can report it to a higher manager or human resources manager, you can ask that it be kept confidential. Good luck.

Yes you have been. Document any further incidents and try to get witnesses. Do your job well, toe the line. If he's picking at your work he may well try to fire you for any little thing he can. If you can just find a new job.

no you are not being sensitive this man does not respect you... this happens to many women, so dont feel that no one understands you. I advice you to talk to someone besides the bosses it is clear that they are sexist and racist... you dont have to deal with them. i hope this helps and good luck.
