Both are nice, but LIYAH sounds better I think

Liyah. Quaniesha sounds....a little bit too heavy for a little girl. Unless is has some significance to you, I would go with a pretty name for a little girl

I like liyah better but I would spell it lea. Sunshinegirl, a persons name will not stop them from succeeding in life. Thats just a bunch of bull. If you are a determined person and have a lot of skills you will achieve what you want in life regardless. What exactly is a regular name to you? Tom? sarah? Karen? If thats the case then thats your opinion.

honestly i prefer quaneisha because it sounds nice but its different there isnt too many people similar with that name in this world. Different is good. Liyah is nice too but its too familiar like its either a nickname or half a name or a name! I prefer Quaneisha its a unique name!

Liyah. (Or Aaliyah.)
Quaneisha is just baaad.. I got nothing but love for my black folks, but names like this are 1. hard to spell, and 2. makes life harder on the child with this kind of name.
I'd say please do your research on giving your children Arabic or African names.. please make sure they are real names and not just something that "sounds pretty". I know a woman who's mother thought "Lasagna" sounded pretty and that is her name. Now people laugh at her when she introduces herself, and she has to go thru the entire explanation of why her name is the way it is every time she meets someone new.

i like the name Liyah. it sounds like a pretty name. when i say the name i think of flowers because it's similar to Lilly's

um i think the name Liyah would be better cuz the kid or whatever might not be able to learn how to spell the name fo a long time..and might be made fun of..
