on youtube i watched a bunch of Avatar:the last airbender mashups that some people call amv's and i really really wanna make one! can anyone tell me how? like what programs and stuff??.. thanx!

To make an AMV, you should have the following:
--various anime episodes (DVD ripped or burned to CD)
--various MP3s
--any video editing software (Windows Movie Maker should be fine)
1. Open Windows Movie Maker
2. Import the episode(s) you'd like to use in the AMV
3. Import the song you'd like to use
4. Go through your episode clips and find clips that match the music. (be sure and mute the sound out of the video clips unless it's for effect)
5. Add transitions if you need to
6. Edit accordingly
7. Save and share!

ok first u gotta download the videos u want to make the AMV out of. like at the theavatarportal.com
then u put them into windows movie maker
then it'll split up the video into a bunch of clips automatically .
then u pick the clips u want and the order and then add sound

Basically, same as the first answer. iMovie also works, but I suggest not using it, it sucks.
