Most of them are doing it for publicity purposes, but I love how they try to convince people that they are in love. Douchebags like Pam Anderson (getting divorced AGAIN) and my favorite white trash hack Ms. Spears have these revolving door marriages and you just know Tom and Katie will soon follow. At least I give credit to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown for lasting as long as they did. Ahhhh...to be famous.

I think a lot of Hollywood relationships are based on physical attraction. You can't base a marriage just on a pretty face! I also think some couplings produce good PR for both stars, which boosts audiences at their movies. Again, good PR is a poor excuse to get married.
P.S. I'd LOVE to see Britany Spears when she's 70; I wonder if she'll still try to expose everything she's got? LOL :)

You're right!! But in hollywood a wedding of 2 months is like 10 years and one of 5 years is like a lifetime!! I really like Will Smith and Jada though. They have been keeping it real. Tomkat wouldn't get divorced! they are gonna last.

I think it's kind of like middle school, you "date" a person because you can. It usually lasts a week or two. At least that's how it was when I was there. They do it because they can and it gets them attention. Everyone loves attention.
