IT IS NOT YOUR TRANSMISSION!!!!
Tranny fluid is dark red. The pink fluid is a different kind of coolant used. There are 3 basic colors of coolant... traditional green, pink and clear. It's important to know which one your car takes because mixing them is not a good idea.

Now that we know your truck takes the pink coolant, all we have to do is find the leak. It's most likely one of the hoses and should be easy enough to find. Just look for the evidence of a leak closest to the top. If it is a hose, replace both. 63K miles is about that time to replace your radiator hoses anyway. If you haven't changed the serpentine belt, you might as well do that too along with changing your air and fuel filters.
You might as well get everything done at once. If you've had the truck since new or with only a few miles on it, here's a list of things you should have changed by now:
Spark plugs (About every 60K miles)
Plug wires (if that truck has them)
Air filter (Every 6 months or as needed)
Fuel filter (at least once a year)
Serpentine belt (As needed)
Coolant flush (should do this every 5 years)
Transmission flush (Every 4 years)
Also, check the owner's manual for when you should change your timing belt (if it's not a chain)

After you spend all your money on this stuff, then you won't have any money to buy gas :o)
Actually, all of this might cost you about $200-$300 to include labor (minus the timing belt change).

if it's an automatic transmission it is probably transmission fluid. Automatics have lines that run to the radiator to cool the oil. It could be brake fluid but it has a very distinct smell and you would notice it. their should be two lines that run into the radiator make sure they are tight. If its coming from the radiator itself you will need to get it repaired or get a new one. its fine to drive it to the shop but before you leave dump a couple of quarts of transmission fluid in it

sounds like a radiator or hose leaking. They use the newer type of antifreeze that has a pink, red, orange look to it. Its either that or the transmission cooler is leaking.

If it is pink, and it has an automatic transmission, you could have a tranny cooler line leaking, or the cooler itself is leaking (usually the bottom portion of the radiator).

Check the transmission fluid to see if it is milky. If it is, you will need a new radiator and a tranny flush/filter.

they sell die for coolant, oil, and such. Put some in your radiator, let it run, and then if you have a black light you should be able to locate that leak easy. It has worked for me on many cars.

check the upper and lower hoses, they could be leaking and maybe the fittings where the hoses goes over.did you check the tranny lines where they hook up to the radiator.

if its pink then it more then likely transmission fluid. it runs into the radiator to help it cool too. try tightening the nuts to the lines that run into the radiator and see if that helps.

CHECK TRANSMKISSION FLUID AND COOLANT LEVEL. COULD BE EITHER ONE IF VEHICLE HAS AUTO TRANSMISSION AND COOLANT ON THAT YEAR GM IS RED IN COLOR. EITHER FIX LEAK OR TAKE IT IN . NO LEAK IS SAFE TO DRIVE
