You can get sore breasts from the hormones produced just before your period, and two weeks isn't that long a time for it to be late by. But better to be safe than sorry: Go see a doctor and get checked out. It'll ease your mind, and the sooner you know, the better.
Good luck!

Well I'm answering this assuming that you've had unprotected sex if not that's another question that needs to be discussed. Most drs will tell you to wait a month past your period having not stopped taking your birthcontrol pills. ALOT of missed periods are caused by stress, sudden changes in life style etc but you will still have the symptoms of a period. BUT if you feel that you are possibly pregnant then I would stop having sex AND taking the pill to prevent any kind of damage the high level of estrogen may cause. If after a month goes by and the second month your period still does not come then I would go to see your doctor. They can actually prescribe a set of pills that will kick your period into over drive and start you. This is all advised though under the assumption that you have decided about having kids and can wait out two months without knowing for sure....would drive me nuts not know though.

There's no reason to panic just yet, periods are strange things and it could be anything. The only way to know is go get a test though! Good luck.

if you're late for your period it's not too late to take a test , but that is a common sign of pregnancy especially at the beginning

Congratulations! You're in Preg City!
I assume you've had some sort of sexual contact with some male recently? The two kind of go hand-in-hand.
