my ex n i broke up almost a year ago now...were still friends...we still talk, we still hang out...i guess ive never really gotten over the fact that i loved her so much. well, now shes with another guy..she tells me they're serious...but when she calls me, she always talk to me about problems with her current bf...she cries on the phone about how he doesnt understand her on some things....i wanna know what should i do? do i just comfort her as a friend? or do i try and step in and take her away?

Just be there for her as a friend. If she didn't want to be with that guy, she wouldn't be with him, and she might end up resenting you for trying to step in. Never step in unless and until she asks you to.
