lol - bit of a grim question, i know - but i would literally turn in my grave if they played music at my funeral that i didn't like...... i'm kind of stuck between the choice of going with something funny like 'another one bites the dust' by queen, or maybe something more serious, like sacrament by HIM...... what would be your choice ??? not too many 'amazing grace's', i hope....... can't stand that flippin' song !!!

I was going to ask the same question but you beat me to it!

My choices would be:

Pavane by the composer Faure; it's a really beautiful requiem (so spot on for a funeral). Would leave the doom and gloom there and then go for Spirit in the Sky; the Dr and the Medics version. The lyrics say it all; why should funerals be miserable?. Would also like I cant wait to meetchu by Macy Gray for pretty much the same reason.

Will come back and haunt anyone who puts on Angels or I will always love you instead of what I've asked for!

Someone's already said one of mine... Green Day, Good Riddance. I'd like My Chemical Romance's Dead.
"Have you heard the news that you're dead? No one ever had much nice to say, I think they never liked you anyway!" Brilliant.

I've heard a band who have an entire album about what to do after you die, one of those would be good too. How about Funeral For A Friend? They'll be there days when I die, with all the songs I'll have picked. And if anyone tries playing anything sentimental, I WILL come back and haunt them.

I will always love you, written by Dolly Parton (same song as performed by Witney Houston).

The show must go on, Queen, Freddy Mercury.

Also the poem, stop the clocks by W H Auden, which was recently recited in the film, four weddings and a funeral I think??

You know what I'm going to say Amazing Grace...but only if the Dropkick Murphys do it, or someone can play the Lemonheads version. Also, Garden by Pearl Jam.

I want the slow piece of music from Star Wars when Luke is at his home and looking at the twin suns setting. Also would like "Don t let me be misunderstood" and "the lonely shepherd" both from Kill Bill.

A tribute to me performed live by the Red Hot Chili Peppers would be cool but if they die before me then probably the cheesy Angels by Robbie Williams
