It seems that many people discuss their issues with smoking, but do not answer your question. No, smoking does not kill you instantaneously, but fear does. Some known smokers were over 100 years old--George Burns, for example. I do not advocate smoking but the facts contradict your fear. I hope I answered your question, and I wish you a happy, healthy, and long life.

Hi!
Smoking will not kill u instantaneously & it is a slow poisening ur self. It effects the Lung directly. Tars in the smoke closes the pores of the Lung. Slowly oxygen supply to ur body will reduse & oxygination of blood will be less. It will cause cancer.
It is better to leave the smoking.
Eventhough u want to continue it pl do Yoga - Pryanama daily for 15 mints in the morning. This will keep u from all dangers.

No, it will generate the effect gradually in years. On one fine day, you will realize that you developed some pulmonary problems, COPD(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases). And you need to seek medical consult for that and you keep coming in and out of the hospital because it gets worse. And if you are one unfortunate soul, your COPD's will lead you to cancer of the lung and you find blaming yourself and so much regrets. You will end up contemplating why didn't you quit smoking. Smoking is one great contributor to serious COPDs and Lung CA, whether you inhale the smoke or you smoke yourself and exposure of inhalants daily at work like paints and so much more. If you're thinkin that you're still young now, and it's too early yet to think you will get those, well, then prepare yourself to suffer the consequences in few years time. Maybe some heavy smokers will laugh hearing this kind of messages but later in life he will realize and he surely will end up in tears and regrets and pity on himself and the laugh on his face is gone.

I used to smoke and quit 4yrs ago. I have done research and every 10 days your lungs heal a little bit. Not much but the sooner you quit the better your chances are of not getting lung cancer or emphysema...besides you smoking is a lot better for your lungs than second hand smoke!

It will not. It will, however, make you smell worse than a dead dog's butthole, you will acquire that grey, pasty pallor and your lips will turn into a wrinkled sucking hole that closely resembles a cat's bum that will defy he most accomplished of plastic surgeons. Everything in your home will become coated with a brown guck and when you approach a normal person you will be preceded by a wave of stank that will cause projectile vomitting in the weak of stomach. And, whilst, you will delude yourself into thinking you are soooo cooool. You will actually appear like nothing more than a pathetic tobacco corporation stooge, sadly sucking on that dirty stick like any piece of homeless dreck.

If you are a smoker you already know the answer to your question. It's kind of stupid to ask a question you already know the answer to.

Smoking causes multiple physical problems. None of them will kill you instantly. They take time to kill you. Do you have a death wish? Why are you trying to kill yourself?
