I'm really into that kind of hard rock and I'm thinking of buying some Lynyrd Skynyrd
But I want to know whether they are that kind of hard rock and whether I will like them.
I have friends who really like them so i think I will but I just want some more ideas

Skynyrd is awesome but slightly different than your previous bands listed. I would recommend them though...try their greatest hits album.

I think that you will enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd. They are Southern rock, not exactly the same kind of rock that Led Zep, Rainbow or Deep Purple are, but AWESOME none the less.
I would recommend "One More From the Road" by LS. Lots of good stuff on that album.

Lynyrd Skynyrd sound like a heavier version of The Black Crowes.
They could be described as a heavy, boogie, Country/ Bluesy rock n roll band.
There are many copycat bands, but there is only one Lynyrd Skynyard.

Skynyrd is awesome but you can't compare the music to Led Zep. It's apples and oranges, you know? Give Skynyrd a listen. They are definitely worth it.

i think that it's a safe bet that u will like lynrd skynrd if u already like led zep, etc. they sound more like rainbow than deep purple. couldn't your friends let u borrow some of their lps so that u can check them out before buying them for yourself ?
