Network- The film was considered overly dramatic and extreme at the time of its release in the 1970’s. Decades later, do you think the movie would still be viewed the same way today? Why or Why not?

If anything I think it would be considered tame by today's standards. The movie did IMO an excellent job in prediciting how controling the media would become in our lives. It came out at a time when I think North Americans were maybe not as aware how manipulative the media could be. In today's society, however, we see it every day, so it's not a shock. Watching Network now is a lot like saying "I Told You So" to all those people who wouldn't listen years ago.
