yes, youtube is a great way to host videos. Due to the flash media player youtube uses, it compresses the files in a format that not only is small, but anyone with flash installed can view.
The only negative I can think of, is that due to the compression type, alot of quality of the original videos are very much washed out. and also it is a great pain to save any of the videos, and they really dont need to be.

For the average user. I don't like the corporate end of it. Plugging new movies and ads. If I want that I would goto iFilm. Just for getting your videos on the web, yes it is great.

Yup. But its interface could use some streamlining, better quality video would be nice, and they will have to figure out the whole copyright thing.

I actually think people doing video blogs a little lame. We don't really care! The funny videos are always welcomed though ...

yeah some of the clips are really funny, some rather serious and some just so stupid i dont see the point..
so all sites have their good and bad points.
