If you're going to use Allyn, just use the Allen spelling. The first spelling is way too feminine. Also, Tristan and Allen rhyme. Sometimes that sounds a little corny.

All the names I like end in -on, -in, -en, etc, so i feel your pain. Those that sound the same don't usually sound good together.

First of all I love the name Tristan, GREAT CHOICE!!! Secondly, Allyns not bad, but the way your spelling it looks like a girl to me, maybe Allen or Alan? The y makes it more of a girl name. GOOD LUCK :)
