There is no reason why working out on a treadmill should endanger your chances of getting pregnant. Assuming that you are just starting out and doing a beginner's program, even ab work is safe at this stage. Exercise can be continued into your pregnancy, as long as it is moderate, appropriate to your condition, and approved by your doctor.
As with all exercise programs, you should discuss your concerns with your doctor, and let him/her know you have special concerns because of your desire to get pregnant. He/she should be able to recommend a program that will help you get back into fitness in a way that will be appropriate for your desire to conceive.
Good luck.

Exercise while trying to conceive and while you are pregnant are fine unless your doctor has reasons why you should not. I went to step aerobics prior to getting pregnant and up until I was 6-1/2 months. Then my husband bought me a treadmill. The only thing I couldn't do was the ab workouts for obvious reasons. Exercise is good for you, your body and the baby.

You should be fine, as long as you don't overdo it (but that doesn't have to do with TTC, just general health). I'm sure you've heard people say you shouldn't start a new exercise regiment if you are TTC, but in all actuality that only refers to starting a new one WHILE PREGNANT. If we all waited to exercise until we either weren't TTC or pregnant, some of us would never get to exercise as all!
Just use common sense and do things in moderation. You don't want to give your body a huge shock, and once you get pregnant you should probably talk to your doc and make sure that you can continue doing what you do. (I think the abs might be right out at that point....)

Yes! It's completely safe to walk on a treadmill when you're trying (but not at the same time -- just kidding). It's actually good that you're doing that. It's a great way to strengthen your body and prepare it for pregnancy. It's even good to work out, but not strenuously, during pregnancy.
Good luck!!!

It's safe. I asked my OB the same thing because I haven't exercised regularly in 2 years. He said it's safe, even abdominal exercises.
