Buy some clear glass mugs and a bottle of Armor-Etch glass etching cream that you can find at the craft store. In the same spot in the store you can find reusable stencils that will cling to the glass. Either etch first names or a person's 3 initials onto the mug. Fill the mugs with fancy tea bags or a sampler of exotic coffee or some packs of imported hot cocoa...these are items you can buy inexpensively from a store like World Market...depending on which type of hot drink each recipient prefers. Add a small pack of imported cookies then wrap in Christmas theme plastic wrap and tie with some pretty ribbon from the floral supply department of the same craft store and maybe add a couple of jingle bells or a little silk poinsettia to the bow.

Well, you could go to your local craft store and buy ceramic ornaments. Paint them and write each person's name on one to make it personal. Add some homemade cookies in a clear bag with ribbon...it would be very pretty.
Or maybe buy some plain, wooden or ceramic picture frames at the craft store. Then, paint them and personalize them for each person for Christmas.
*I know if you go to your local craft store, you will find many ideas or even books with ideas.

Every one loves picture frames. Buy some inexpensive one, from a dollar tree store, and spray paint them a color the person like, and add special little things of the sides to go with their personality. Like buttons in shapes, look at scrape booking notions and glue to your frames. Also make mats with ribbons in the color of choice. Fish for fisherman. etc.

buy some of the hershey's miniatures (the little bitty bite size ones that come wrapped in fioled colors for Christmas) and a roll of glittery string. stack 3 or 4 pieces of candy on top of each other, alternating the direction so they stick out a little bit from each other....and tie them up with the string. they look like little mini presents. they are so cute. I do them for people in the office for christmas.

Hope you like these crafts!
Wooden Snowmen Ornaments
What You Need
large craft sticks
small twigs
white and black acrylic craft paint
orange toothpicks
colorful felt
Glittery chenille sticks
Shiny pom poms
Black craft foam
Buttons or sequins
Ribbon
Hot glue gun
Scissors
What You Do
1. Paint the craft sticks white and let dry completely.
2. Break twigs into pieces about 3 inches long.
3. Cut strips of colorful felt to make scarves, fringe the ends with scissors.
4. Cut the end off of an orange toothpick, about 1 inch long.
5. Cut a hat out of black craft foam.
6. Using the wrong end of a paintbrush, dip the end into black paint, then dot on an eye, repeat for the other eye. Repeat this process for the mouth. Or, use a round-tip marker.
7. Glue the orange toothpick nose in place.
8. Tie the felt scarf around the snowman’s neck, or simply fold over to look like it’s blowing in the wind, and then glue it in place.
9. Glue on hat. If you prefer ear muffs, cut a piece of chenille stick to fit around top of head, then glue in place. Glue on pom poms for the muffs.
10. Glue buttons or sequins in a line below the scarf.
11. Cut a piece of ribbon 8-10 inches long for the hanger. Fold in half and glue the open ends together on the back of the snowman’s head.
12. Lastly, glue on the stick arms and let your snowman dry in a safe place where he won’t get bumped.
Helpful Hints
There is a very large variety of colorful chenille sticks, pom poms, and felt available at craft supply stores. They are inexpensive and great to have on hand for impromptu crafts. Offering a variety allows children to choose their favorites and be unique.
If you don’t have any felt, or if you prefer to use a patterned fabric, remnants make great scarves! Gingham and stripes give your snowman a country feel.
Teach children to respect the environment by either picking dead branches off a bush or tree, or to gather them from the ground
OR
Rudolph Ornament
What You Need
¼ sheet of light brown craft foam
2 glitter gold chenille sticks
2 medium wiggle eyes
1 red glitter pom pom
6-8 inches of ribbon
White craft glue or hot glue gun
Scissors
What You Do
1. To make the head, cut 2 tear drop shapes from the craft foam.
2. To make the ears, cut a small oval, then cut it in half lengthwise.
3. Bend each chenille stick in half, then bend and twist them to form two antlers.
4. Glue the ears toward the top of the round end of one of the tear drop shapes. Tip: Hot glue works much faster.
5. Glue antlers to the top of the same oval shape.
6. For the hanger, fold ribbon in half and glue the open ends together in between the two antlers.
7. Glue the second oval shape to the back of the first oval to create the back of the reindeer’s head. This sandwiches the ears, antlers and hanger inside the two tear drop shapes and gives the ornament a more finished look.
8. Glue on wiggle eyes.
9. Glue on red pom pom for nose at the pointed end of the tear drop.
10. Allow to dry completely.
Helpful Hints
Check the holiday section of the craft store for glitter chenille sticks and pom poms.
To make it easier for younger children, either draw the shapes onto the craft foam for them, or cut out the shapes yourself ahead of time.
Foam can be found in abundance at your local craft or discount department store in a variety of colors. You can even buy mini buckets full of various different shapes, colors and sizes.
Really hope this helped......Enjoy your crafts!
Merry Christmas!!
