I am going to a Christmas Dance and I need some ideas of what to do with my hair. I have a little longer that shoulder length hair. It would be great if you could give me a website...or just describe it.
Thank!

Well it is the holidays so go for a more glam look. Big waves are back in style think 40's movie star power with the deep part on the side and big shiny waves in your hair. With the right dress something either strapless or with a high collar will compliment this look, but be sure to have the right makeup also becuase if you don't it won't complete the look. Be sure to go to your local MAC counter and buy some lashes they are $10 and they will put them on for free. If you think red lipstick is too harsh for you go for a flattering sparkling berry light, go light on the blush and remember just to highlight your brow bone with black eyeliner.

If you really want to add flare to your hair get some extensions the same length as your hair and have your stylist add them in so when he/she does the waves it will show some highlights. No glitter it's too much. Hope this helps

Think classic and elegant. Do not get a curly updo, it is tacky and overused. go for a wavy 'do, either half up or all let down. if you opt for a half up 'do, get a beautiful barette your stylist can use.

Overdone hairdos are tacky. Go for a classic look that is not too contrived.

if u want your hair to be up, you could put your hair in a bun and leave small amounts of hair to curl, (like ringlets). or you could simply spiral your hair and leave it down.
