You can memorise facts and figures - watch as much cricket as you like - talk about it till it hurts, but the only way you'll learn about the intricacies of the "life" game is to play it. Play it as often as you can. One day, school, twilight, indoor, club, seven-a-side, nets, backyard, street, beach - how do you think the likes of Richie, Chappelli, Greiggy etc learned so much about the game !
