No, not space crafts. but there is a theory that there was a large asteroid passing very close to earth about 19000 years ago and creating worldwide havoc. Some believe that the Sumerians told that story. This includes the great flood that account for the Gilgamesh/Noah story. There are correlating stories from different parts of the world.

actually, I believe sumerian religion did incorporate astral/celestial manifestations that could be loosely construed as spacecraft. Most ancient religions depict beings or objects that descend from the sky, or move about the sky. Even as late as the early Renaissance period, the great painter El Greco incorporated spacecraft in some of his religious works.

Depends how drunk you are when you read them. We can only understand Sumerian writing by comparing it to other ancient writing of the time. Not many of them had a word for spacecraft.

They tell nothing of spacecraft.

Sumerians were the first known people to have developed agriculture, bronze, the wheel, and a law code. They lived on the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers in what is today Iraq.

A lot of their artifacts were looted or destroyed in the Iraq invasion. What a shame.
