Excellent question. It should move and I think the best place is Israel. It is the main focal point on most all international issues and I do believe it would solve or at least get a handle on many of today's problems.

I love the UN and think its our best bet for world peace. That being said, I always thought it would be cool if the UN was in the North Pole or orbiting in space or something so that no single country can "lay claim" to it.
I guess that would make it pretty difficult for the employees though...

it's in the US because almost anyone can come here, its easier. If it moved to another country than people may have a problem traveling. US doesn't require visas from alot of countries. and many people can't get visas to travel to certain countries. so US was their best option because it welcomes travelers, personal travel, business travel and political. many countries don't. and it can't move to Israel. the politic would worry about their lives rather than work. US is the safest country on the planet

Because we agreed to host them when we helped establish the UN. Also, they bring a lot of business to the US, so businesses around New York are more than happy that they are there.
