There are 2 possible reasons:
1. Not connected with the Wireless network
When you view the list of wireless network and when you click on you wireless network does it say Connected or it shows you a button Connect.
If it shows you a button connect you must click that to connect to that wireless router.
2. Connected with the wireless network but Wireless network is not connected to the Internet.
If you are connected to the wireless network and still if you are not able to browse the internet then you must follow the instructions provided in the wireless router manual about how to set up the WAN (Wide Area Network) which is nothing but your
Internet Service Provider Connection.
Each router has its own way of instructions to do the above said, If you can specify the name of the router you have I will try to find the manual in the internet.

If you can login to your router, via IE, then the problem seems to be a Internet/Routing problem.
1. Verify that your Router is actually connected to your ISP.
2. Ensure the router DHCP is on.
3. Ensure your PC TCP/IP Properties are set to Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.

go to start run and type cmd, then type ipconfig in the dos window that opens, have you been assigned an IP address? If so, have you enabled authentication on your wireless network? If not, you may have an outsider hijacking your bandwidth. You need to log into your firewall through your browser and enable WEP encryption and change the admin user name and password so you can establish a secure network and keep anyone with a wireless card near your router out. To log to your firewall use the gateway IP that gets returned when you sent the ipconfig command and plug that into your address bar on your browser then log with the default user name and password usually something like user: administrator password: admin or vice versa.

If you are using a firewall such as ZoneAlarm, you might have to add the IP address to the list of trusted zones.
