I will be recieving 15,000 on my birthday in April and I'd like to invest or something 5,000 of it. Is it possible to do that now without the money?? And the money is from an annuity so it's coming. Need more details let me know! I know this is probably a silly question, but it never hurt to ask!

The most secure investment that will bring a HUGE return over the years, and is a "sure" thing, is education. Invest in yourself. It is corny, but true. With the money, learn investments. I did years ago and have benefitted from it many times over, knowing what to look for in stocks, bonds, munis and mutuals.
If you want to do it on the cheap, there is a little book you can buy for less than $10 in a used book store. It will point you in the right direction. It is my "bible" on investing:
The Richest Man In Babylon" by George Clason.

NOW is the time you can be doing some homework on stocks that interest you. Read read read !!!!

There are many companies that offer direct purchase plans to which you don't need a broker for. They can be found by searching "direct stock purchase plans".

You can also set an account with a discount on line broker such as "scott trade". Even visit their site NOW to start learning. They have an educational area so you can learn as you go.

You are never to young to start an IRA. You could get a mutual fund within an IRA and get started towards a bright future.

I suggest you put $5000 in an IRA and then $5000 in for investing and the other $5000 into a savings account for emergencies. Of course you will want to spend some but why not spend it on things that will MAKE YOU MORE MONEY !!!! Soooooooooo simple !!

You could take $5,000.00 USD from your Credit Card and invest them and before the Grace Period is over you use your second Credit Card to pay for the first one and so on until April.

You only need 3 Credit Cards with at least $5,000.00 USD to do that.

it could be if you invest your BORROWED money in a safe investment...
you cant (or it is not good) to invest in something when you don't have the exact money... because investment in the near future mean that you need to invest in stocks... these stocks are danger for a person don't understand them.. you may loos your money in a second.. and you may be rich in a minute...

have your money and invest your money in your own business...
