Yes, especially in the 1st and 3rd trimester. The first trimester is doomed with sickness and all around crapy feeling and you often don'y feel hungry. During the 3rd trimester, everything (including your stomach) is so squished, it's hard to want to eat, especially all the calories you're supposed to! Even during the 2nd trimester (though less common) women can still be be not hungry! Either emotions, growing uterus or MANY other things going on just makes it that way. Best advice is to nibble! Just nibble or graze a little all day long. A cracker or two here, cheese stick there, apple at 2pm and then some rice cakes at 3:30......and it will add up! Make sure you are taking your vitamins too, it will help you keep the vitamin supply up, even when not eating much. Also, ensure is a great way to get some much needed nutrients and not have to sit down to a plate full! GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes.
I hardly ever felt hungry when I was pregnant, and when I did eat, I got full very quickly. I couldn't understand how some pregnant women think that they should be eating for two based on my pregnancy...I had no appetite at all. Don't worry.
Blame the hormones and take a good prenatal vitamin to ensure that you are getting the right nutrients each day :)

Depending on how far along you are? If it is early, that is normal. As long as your obstetrican does not think anything is wrong, and you are gaining the proper amount of weight, you should be good. Not everyone eats everything during their pregnancy. If the doctors thinks you are healthy and the baby is healthy, then there is nothing to worry about.

Yes because I lost like 20 pounds in the beginning of my pregnancies with my girls and 50 over all with my son. You will eat when you need to, try to eat lots of small meals to keep up your energy level. Good luck!!!

i lost weight with both of my children in the first months of my pregnancy. With my 2nd, I had to force myself to eat the entire time, b/c I was never hungry.

Well, when my wife was pregnant, she was hungry, but could not keep enything down, no matter what she ate. You needt o eat something, as it can make things really bad later on (as it was with my wife)
