that if you advertise on the radio that you have to be with the BBB...
I heard a advertisement for something that i was interested in but they wanted to bill me 4 payments of 69.00 i was like never mind .. he was like why and i told him that i wasnt sending him that much cuz i dont know who he is REALLY but he said that for him to advertise on the radio he had to be in the BBB.. is that true. cuz i may call back if so... ( maybe )

NO that is not true. To advertise on the radio you have to have money. That is the only requirement most radio stations have.

Anytime a salesperson puts that kind of pressure on you it is best to walk away.

And belonging to the BBB, doesn't guarantee an honest company. Again, all it takes to join the BBB is money. That's their only requirement.

You do NOT have to be a member of BBB to advertise on the radio. If this were true there'd be a whole lot of radio station salesmen getting mighty thin, or out of work entirely! You were wise, however, not to give too much info to a company you don't know too much about.

NO, and even if they were, it really isn't much of an assurance that they were cool. Sounds like pressure tactics...run...RUN.
